Quick Summer Update
Hi all!
I know it's been a bit slow around here the last while. I just wanted to say I appreciate everyone who logs on (frequently or occasionally) to see what's going on. If you get a chance to post an update (either about fish, or another topic) that would be awesome! I'm hoping to add some new fish/plants in the near future (it's been rather sparse in my tank for a little while), and will be excited to share it with you all. Hope you are all having a great summer!
A tiny bit of business, I have opted to renew our add-free state (as it has been for the last couple of years). I have also renewed our domain for another year, so you'll continue to find us here.
Cheers,
Indie

Re: Quick Summer Update
I got an update of sorts for my ID shark tank.
Was forced into buying a replacement pump as my current Angelo Decor one seems to be having intermittant issues, plus the impelar cover will not screw tightly.
So, I bought the best replacement I could find in a Smartpond UV pump that is 700GPH. https://www.lowes.ca/pond-accessories/smartpond-700-gph-uv-pond-pump_g2462934.html
Home Depot didn't have what I bought from them before, so went with this. Comes with a mesh bag that the pump sits in along with the UV.
Now, after putting this sucker in, my sharks are a bit more active than usual. Which may be a good or bad thing, not sure yet.
But as for the talk we've had regarding them being stunted, the original shark has gotten bigger over the last few years.

Re: Quick Summer Update
That is great news! Both on the activity and the size.
