Mystery snails & zucchini Empty Mystery snails & zucchini

I got some zucchini for my remaining 2 mystery snails but they don't seem interested in it.
I cut a slice & stuck it to a fork to hold it in place but they don't seem to want any.
Any ideas?

I say 2 remaining as my first one died this past week. Was sticking part way out of it's shell but was still moving it's antennas around, never had a stink either. When zoomed in with my camera, I could still see movement.
Did the water test but got no reaction.
I just wonder if I wiped off too much algae from the glass. I only wiped 3 panes & left the one end piece nicely covered.

I feed mine algae wafers and that works well.

Did you blanch the zucchini? Mine like it.

I didn't actually since the one snail was attached to it.
I think I lost a second snail. He's been floating for a few days now. Does NOT have a smell. Had him out of the water to see if it would come out to search for water, but nothing.
Should I assume it's dead?
