Small koi in an indoor pond
Ever since mid '80's, I've been a huge fan of koi. Untill 1993 I've kept koi mixed with other pond fish in the pond in our backyard. But after that I've focussed on koi itself and got rid of other pond fish. Of course, all tropical and subtropical freshwater aquariumfish were still kept.
But I've also kept an indoor pond in my livingroom which was intended for guppies to keep in. But instead I chose to put baby koi in there and let them grow up till a certain size before they were put in one of the outdoor ponds in my backyard.
It's really a nice sight to look at baby koi when you're sitting on your couch...

Re: Small koi in an indoor pond
Well, I've stopped keeping koi for a while now. And I also don't breed them anymore.
Healthwise, it's sufficient to keep and breed aquarium fish. With 70 tanks indoor and 7 outdoor (won't use those in winter) it's manageable for me. If I had a better health, I would gladly start keeping koi again.
