Rehoming & Angel fish question -long Empty Rehoming & Angel fish question -long

Post by Earhtmother Sun May 01, 2016 1:32 am

So I am now the proud owner of 15/ 20 Angels and need to figure out just how much room they require. I was going to do some rehoming anyway since I just acquired a 65g & a 70g tank, so now I am just adjusting my planning to accommodate these guys. Never having tried Angels before I need to know if they prefer a tall tank or a long tank - if I have to split the group in 2 I will. At the moment I have them mixed into 2 tanks but would prefer to have them on their own, reason for the new tanks.

So currently the tanks are
67g * 19hx18dx48l* empty
70g * 24hx18dx36l* empty
6g fry tank
65g *24Hx18Dx36L* Lg Clown Knife
37g *24Hx12Dx30L* guppies & shrimp
30g tall *24Hx12.5Dx24L* Angels & Guppies
29g *19Hx12Dx30L* tetras & corys

Am moving the knife to the 70g to give him more length less height & was thinking the Angels wiuld go in the old knife tank but is it big enough to house them all? Right now at loonie size its fine but when they're bigger?????
Any help is appreciated

I would split the group up into 2 groups and use 67 and 70 then think about getting a 90 or bigger for just 1 group. Angels can get very big. Hope that helps.
