Trumpet snail question

In my shark tank, I have 2 maybe 3 adult trumpets and now a bunch of babies. I am wondering if there would be any benefit to moving some to the koi/goldfish tank that has a sand bottom, no algae eaters & no plants?
The shark tank does have 2 assassin snails but they don't seem to bother with the trumpets. Might have to buy more as their work is really cut out for them.

Trumpets can be a beneficial addition to sand tanks - they can help to aerate. We have them in all of our sand tanks...on purpose

I'll be the other side of the coin - I find they were a huge problem here, although they are finally dying off in my soft water. They are a major source of pollution in a tank, as they tend to die unnoticed in the sand. In an older established tank, it is surprising how many empty trumpet shells you can find accumulating.

I am quite pleased their numbers are diminishing naturally for me, as to me, they are an egg eating pest snail. I don't like their looks, I don't like their ways and I don't think their cousins are much better!

Well, I put one trumpet in the other tank & have not seen it since, about a week later now.
Tonight, I sifted through by dragging my fingers throughout all the sand & no sign of it anywhere.
