I've added both of these lines to the store. Pretty low prices as well..

This is the first time I've seen the tropica substrate. What can you tell us about it? Lots of good looking stuff as always.

High end top quality equipment and tools there. I have been thinking about the Tropica nano c02 system.

yes, these are definitely higher end products but i thought since I'm bringing in the Tropica plants every few weeks , might as well add these other products for those who may want them. I don't know alot about them...I would imagine the soil is very similar to ADA and the price reflects that. The CO2 stuff is good for small tanks for people who don't want to mess around with DIY and maybe have a nice rimless tank and want to finish it off with a nice looking CO2 setup. Same applies with the glassware, this is for those who have rimless tanks and want a very clean, clear look. I think VIV is on par with DOaqua and a step below (in price at least) from ADA...

My understanding is the substrate is great affordable way to start a planted tank, the soil is like the ADA & Fluval etc.
The substrate is placed as a bottom layer and act as a nutrient storage, this is then capped with gravel sand, etc of your choice.

thanks for the link...I haven't had a chance to do much research into the tropica stuff to be honest but I think you're right that the in the video they were using what they call "substrate"..my guess is its something similar to flourite or eco complete, a substrate high in CEC values. I like the fact that they sell in small quantities for nano tanks which is really what its designed for. I wish ADA did the same...
