For some reason they always send me to China around this time of the year with the result that I am always missing the big auction in Montreal.

So, everybody that went to an auction this season, let me know how it was; what you got, what you wanted but didn't get, what you sold, in short everything!

In this way, I can enjoy it a little bit and vow not to allow to send me again next year around this time!

I got to see Dany, which was fun.
I sold quite a few lots and have my fishfood covered for the year, with budget for some new fish the next time they pop up.

All I bought was one lonely pair of gardneri killies, because it was a form I had not seen in a while, and I really like them (gardneri Makurdi).

I just came home from the regular meeting of the MAs with a young trio of Melanotaenia boesemani Aytinja to add to my group, and a favourite fish I have not had in a decade, Pelvicachromis kribensis from Dehane, Cameroon. It's a really nice local variety and I have missed keeping the fish I still think of as "taeniatus". They are still my favourite Cichlid species. Now I have to breed them or I won't have them for long.

Great to hear! Have other people been going to other auctions as well?
