Will fry survive a trip? Empty Will fry survive a trip?

I want to take the little fry I have with me back to Montreal. This trip will be altogether almost a full day and I wonder whether they would be able to survive without food that long?

Another consideration is that I won't be able to starve them the days before as I normally do. Can ammonia become an issue?

Is there a way to ship them at this age or are chances basically zero that they will survive?

They should survive just as long as they don't overheat .

Chances of overheating are low I guess in the cargo hold of a plane!

No problem for one day. I just received a shipment yesterday so weather seems to be holding up well.

That sounds promising! I will divide the batch over several bags to upper the possibilities of them surviving.

That is a excellent idea. Keep us posted on how they do on the first airplane ride.  Wink

Their keeper doesn't like window seats so they will have to do with what I want. It looks like they will not need these eye masks though as their cabin will be completely blacked out....
